You will receive an email with a list of available classroom sessions currently held in Auckland and Christchurch ONLY, and you will need to book a convenient date.
This blended eLearning course is also available for private groups, offering a flexible solution. Have your team members complete the online modules at their own pace, reducing the need for extensive classroom time. This is ideal for organisations with busy schedules or large teams. At the face-to-face session, you will meet with our New Zealand Resuscitation Council certified Emergency Care instructor, who will be able to answer any questions that you may have from your self-paced learning and will then demonstrate and let you practice several techniques, followed by the practical assessment. After successfully completing both components, you will become a qualified first aider.
Self-paced learning will take approximately 4-5 hours to complete, depending on your knowledge base. But remember, you do not have to do it all in one go. It would be best to take a topic or two a day to maximise your learning. You can come and go with this eLearning tool, so if you are interrupted, log out and log back in when you have more time.
This eLearning module is presented in English; a reasonable understanding and ability to read in English will be required. If you are concerned about your English, you may contact us to discuss alternative options.
If you have any questions while working on the course, you can e-mail us, and we will endeavour to answer you within 24 hours.
